語法小知識：主語從句有哪幾類
1．由what等代詞引起的主語從句：
這類從句可由三類代詞引起：
1)what(關係代詞型的what)：
What you need is more practice．
你需要的是更多的練習。
What I saw made me mad．
我看到的情況使我非常生氣。
2)whatever：
Whatever I have is yours，too．
我有的一切也都是你的。
Whatever has been said here must be kept secret．
這裏說的一切話都必須保密。
3)whoever：
Whoever comes will be welcome．
準來都歡迎。
Whoever wants it may have it．
誰要都可以給他。
2．由that引起的主語從句(that有時可以省略)：
這類主語從句大多數用先行詞作it形式上的主語，而把真正的主語放到句子後部，以保持句子的平穩(a)，也有少數直接用這種從句作主語，不用it(b)：
a.It’s a pity(that)you can’t come．
真遺憾你不能來。
It seemed she had got the job．
看來她已得到這份工作了。
b．That she is still alive is a consolation．
她還活着，這是使人寬慰的。
That Shelley became a poet may have been due to his mother’s influence．
雪萊成爲詩人可能是受他母親的影響。
3．由連接代（副)詞及whether引起的主語從句：
這類從句可以直接放在句首(a)，也可以放到後部，前面用先行詞it作形式上的主語(b)：
a．Who are to be sent there will be discussed at the next meeting．
究竟派誰去將在下次會上討論。
I am going anyway．Whether or not she will go is up to her to decide．
不管怎樣我是要出的，她去不去由她自己決定。
b.It was a mystery how the burglar got in．
小偷怎麼進去的是一個謎。
It won’t make too much influence whether he will join us．
他是否參加不會有多大影響。
