集體名詞，如：police, people, cattle, militia, poultry等，通常作複數，用複數動詞。如：?

2)通常作不可數名詞的集體名詞?

有些集體名詞，如foliage, machinery, equipment, furniture, merchandise,通常作不可數名詞，隨後的動詞用單數。例如：All the machinery in the factory is made in China.?

3)既可作單數也可作複數的集體名詞?
