Dear Editor,

I am writing to tell you about the survey I’ve made on “Using paper cards or e-cards?” in our class.

About 30% of the students want to use the paper card. Firstly, people can make them by themselves and they can show people’s real feelings. Secondly, people can take them everywhere they go and keep them for a long time. Thirdly, people don’t have to read them through computers.

However, about 70% of the students prefer to use e-cards. E-cards can carry much information and people can send them quickly. Besides, using e-cards can save paper so that the environment can be protected well. What’s more, people can make different kinds of designs that they like.

As for me, I like to use both of the two kinds, because when I am free, I can use the paper cards, but when I am busy, I can use e-cards.

At present, a number of middle school students have picked up a bad habit—cheating in exams.

There are four main reasons. First, schools have given students too many exams, some of which are too difficult. 1.首段引人

儘自己最大的可能使得第一自然段引人入勝，做到“語不驚人誓不休”。要想做到這一點，就要求學生要大量地閱讀課外書籍，包括中文和英文，做到知識面寬泛，觀點靈活，寫技高超。

2.詞組句型

在英語作文中，詞組和句型的運用可幫助呈現寫作者的英語水平。這就要求學生要在基礎知識方面進行系統的學習。現舉例說明：

preferdoing>enjoydoing>likedoing由此可以看出，不同類型和不同水平的詞組句型可表現出寫作者不同的觀點及英語水平。

3.複合句

在英語寫作中,對於主從複合句的運用也是必不可少的。小學英語作文中可以沒有主從複合句，但從初中開始，必須在寫作中運用主從複合句(至少1——2個)。因爲，只有主從複合句才能表達更爲複雜的觀點;只有主從複合句才能是閱卷者看出寫作者真實的英語水平高度。

4.轉聯詞

所謂的轉聯詞是指那些用於承上啓下的副詞，連詞以及大量的介詞詞組等。英語作文中轉聯詞的必要使用，可以使得句子與句子之間更加流暢，避免了各個句子的分割獨立，使得文章順理成章，一氣呵成。學生在學習中，掌握了大量的此類單詞和詞組，但除了but,because,等，很少主動使用，使得所寫文章頗顯乾巴和唐突。

5.時態

毋庸置疑，時態是英語基礎知識的重要範疇之一，也是區別於漢語的重要特點之一。而英語作文又是對學生綜合能力的考覈。因而，在作文中，必須加入時態的準確運用，才能使自己的觀點和所敘述的情節更加精準。因爲中文中沒有時態的概念，中國學生極易在英語時態方面出現失誤或忽略時態的運用，這將使所寫的英語作文大打折扣。

6.書寫排版
