“慢閱讀”英語怎麼說

　名詞解釋：慢閱讀，是指用足夠的時間，沉潛在一本書中，不急於“趕路”，而是“慢慢的欣賞”。美國教授托馬斯·紐柯克正在提倡“慢閱讀”，他認爲這是從文字中發現更多意義和樂趣的一種方式。你知道怎麼用英語表達嗎?

But a new trend calls on people to enjoy slow reading.

In Wellington, New Zealand, there is a book club where members meet in a cafe and turn off their smartphones. They sink into cozy chairs and read in silence for an hour.

Unlike traditional book clubs, the point of the Slow Reading Club isn't exchanging ideas about a certain book, but to get away from electronic devices and read in a quiet, relaxed environment.

人們一般可以把閱讀劃分爲兩大類：一是慢閱讀，即slow reading;二是快速閱讀(fast reading 或speed reading)，多項研究表明，慢閱讀不僅能激發智力(intellectual stimulation)，而且可以減緩壓力(reduces stress levels)。
