[誤] Emma saves food and expenses to accumulate more money for books.

[正] Emma lives frugally to save up more money for books.

注：save 是指“省下，把......存起來”。我們常說 save time, save money 等，但“省吃儉用”是指把買食物的錢和其他花費都存下來買書，這顯然不能用 save food and expenses 表達，因爲英語的 save food 是指“把食物存起來”。
