這裏指的是美國年輕人在暑假期間的浪漫邂逅，開學後又各自回到自己的生活學習單中。最有名的fling可能是Grease裏面 John Travolta和Olivia Newton John的海濱邂逅了，不過Olivia後來竟然轉學到了Travolta的學校。。。我好像沒有經歷過什麼summer love，倒是有過spring festival love，事實也證明，這種一見鍾情，極速升溫的愛情是不能持久的。
