The international community should cut its dependence on hazardous nuclear materials and eradicate nuclear terrorism with the aid of multilateral frameworks, Li Hong, secretary-general of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, said in an exclusive interview with China Daily.

中國軍控與裁軍協會祕書長黎弘表示，國際社會應該藉助多邊框架，削減對危險核材料的依賴，消除核恐怖主義。

文中的nuclear terrorism就是指“核恐怖主義”，nuclear security（核安全）一直都是全球共同面臨和關心的重大議題，涉及核安全的說法也有很多。例如nuclear material（核材料）、nuclear power（核大國）、nuclear disarmament（核裁軍）、nuclear weapon（核武器）、nuclear leakage（核泄漏）、nuclear blackmail（核訛詐）、nuclear proliferation（核擴散）、nuclear deterrence（核威懾）、nuclear warhead（核彈頭）等。

中國是一個擁有先進nuclear technology（核技術）能力的國家，隨着nuclear facilities（核設施）分佈日益廣泛、nuclear radioactive material（核放射性材料）使用的日益增多，中國也面臨各種形式的恐怖主義威脅。核恐怖主義威脅具有跨國性的特點，別國的核安全漏洞或安全事故都可能波及中國。中國應充分利用核安全峯會的機會，加強自身核安全建設。

與此同時，中國應充分利用峯會，加強與其他國家的合作，體現中國在覈安全問題上負責任的姿態，承擔更多國際責任。目前中國在high-enriched uranium（高濃縮鈾）轉low-enriched uranium（低濃縮鈾）技術上已沒有問題，可以對國際社會提供技術援助。
