A: He said he know nothing about it.

B: It was really silly of you to believe what he said.

一， 詞彙拾貝

put out feeler

exp. To arrange to find out about something in an indirect manner. （試探）

e.g. He's been putting out feelers to see how employees might react to such a policy.
