第一點:不濫用“美音”中的兒化音。各位都知道,在“美音”中,有許多兒化音,比如comer中的mer,maker中的ker,等等。但據我觀察,有些學習者不分具體情況,濫用兒音。比如我聽過有一位朋友,將China中的na也念成兒音,而且唸的很重,讓人覺得很怪異,很彆扭。“美音”中的兒音,通常只出現在er這樣的字母組合上,並不是所有相似的音都發兒音,因此這一點希望初學者注意。

第二點:口頭語言與書面語言最好保持一致。如果您選擇了“美音”,那麼您的口頭語言(美音)最好與書面語言保持一致,也就是在文章中,儘量使用美國英語特有的詞彙。比如有的同學,就是一口標準的“美音”,但他的文章中,卻使用railway、shop、got等英國英語特有的詞彙。既然你講“美音”,那這些單詞最好改成railroad、store、gotten等,以便讓口頭語言與書面語言保持一致。

第三點:注意某些國家的反美傾向。學完“美音”之後,去美國工作,當然沒有任何問題,這是最理想的,但是萬一您去某些反美國家工作,您就要考慮一下政治因素。一位巴勒斯坦朋友Shaath曾經說,許多巴勒斯坦人厭惡Hebrew(希伯萊語)和English(英語),認爲它們是Satan(撒旦)的語言,是Zionist(猶太復國主義)的語言。當然,這是一種很偏激的政治觀點,但我們可以從中看出當地強烈的反以、反美情緒。假如您今後是去這種國家工作,爲了您的工作順利,甚至爲了您的人身安全,我建議您學“英音”!
