VICKI:I think it's time for us to get away from it all Matt.

MATT:Get away from it all? Go away and leave all our work behind? Where are we going?

VICKI:Well I thought we could get away from it all and go on holiday!

MATT:I would really like to get away on holiday. I'm all excited now – I love holidays. Where are we going?

VICKI:Well Matt, we don't have to plan a holiday that carefully. We could just take off somewhere.

MATT:Take off somewhere – what? just leave now without planning anything?

VICKI:Sure. Why not? We could just go to the travel agent today and buy some tickets. We've been working hard presenting this programme – we deserve a holiday!

MATT:Right! I'm going to pack my bags now!

Get away (from sb/sth): to succeed in leaving a place; to escape from sb or a place 離開,脫身,擺脫,逃離
I won't be able to get away from the office before 7.
我七點之前無法離開辦公室.

I think it's time for us to get away from it all Matt.
get away from it all在不同的語境中可以有不同的解釋,這裏可以理解爲"拋開一切(工作)".

不知道大家學過新概念英語4沒,裏面有篇課文裏有句話就是" That the equipment of modern camping becomes yearly more sophisticated is an entertaining paradox for the cynic, a brighter promise for the hopeful traveler who has sworn to get away from it all."翻譯爲" 現代露營裝備一年比一年講究,這對那些厭世嫉俗者來說是一件有趣的自相矛盾的事情.而對於發誓用露營來擺脫煩惱的人來說,卻帶來了更光明的前景."
