go round in circles 和 run round/around in circles都有"在原地兜圈子,毫無進展，白忙，瞎忙”的意思;但與run circles around sb.有區別。後者指“比（某人）做得出色,輕易超過(某人)”。

A:我們老師又要我們背誦課文了。

B:Do you have to remember every text?

B:每篇課文你們都要求會背嗎？

A:Yes. He says recitation is good for us to learn English.
