智利冷知識：超強的救援能力

最著名的事件發生在2010年，當時一次礦井塌方把33名礦工困在了地下600多米，救援總共花了2個多月，但所有的礦工最後都成功獲救。

In August 2010, the collapse of the San Jose mine in Chile caused the trapping of 33 miners 2000 feet below ground. Rigorous, safety-conscious efforts were made to successfully retrieve the affected miners. A small borehole was drilled by rescuers to provide food, liquids, lights, and send notes to and from the mine. All of the trapped miners were successfully rescued after almost 70 days.

2010年8月，智利聖何塞礦井坍塌，致使33名礦工被困在地下2000英尺處。經過謹慎且遵守安全規程的營救行動，被困礦工被成功救回。救援人員鑽了一個小井孔來爲被困人員提供食物、飲水和光照，並通過它傳遞關於礦井的信息。所有被困礦工在近70天之後成功獲救。
