The image was taken during the Carnival in the town of Jacmel, Haiti. Carnival in Jacmel is one of the most interesting cultural manifestations in Haiti and in Hispaniola. There are traditional characters that dress up in customs depicting African animals, such as lions and mystical beasts, dragon.
