On the first day of the New Year or shortly thereafter, everybody wears new clothes and greetsrelatives and friends with bows and Gongxi (congratulations), wishing each other good luck,happiness during the new year. In Chinese villages, some villagers may have hundreds ofrelatives so they have to spend more than two weeks visiting their relatives.
在春節第一天或此後不久,大家都穿着新衣服,帶着弓向親戚和朋友打招呼並恭喜(祝賀),彼此祝願在新的一年裏好運,幸福。在中國農村,有些村民可能有數以百計的親戚,所以他們不得不拿出兩個多星期來走親訪友。

Lanterns are traditionally lit to celebrate the Lantern Festival, the 15th of the first Chinese lunar month every year. The Lantern Festival officially ends the Chinese New Year celebrations.
昨天午夜之後人們燃放爆竹來驅逐家裏的不吉、怪物、災難、疾病和貧困。今天也是中國財神的生日。人們通常在這一天重新開張。按照傳統要點燈來慶祝元宵節,每年第一個月的農曆十五。元宵節意味着中國新年的慶祝活動正式結束了。
