But this mum-of-two managed to transform her "dated and dark" kitchen in under two days and on a £35 budget.

Kayleigh Ann Rose Withington, 23, from Manchester, recently revamped her entire house after moving, including her cluttered kitchen - with dark work tops and a beigesplash back - which was the first to go.

The frugal mum, who is expecting her third child, shared the before and after pictures on the Facebook group, DIY On a Budget Official, and received over 1000 comments.

Kayleigh opted to redecorate the entire kitchen in white, saying: "It feels nicer to have everything brighter and more airy."

She was able to save some money and update her once tiled floor by using leftover planks from the in law' s house and painting them white.

She then said: “White tile paint on tiles, white chalk paint from Aldi for cupboards, with gloss on top. 2 rolls of white wood effect vinyl from Wilkos!"   

她接着說: “瓷磚上有白色瓷磚塗料，櫥櫃上用的是阿爾迪公司的白色粉筆塗料，上面泛着光澤。2卷Wilkos的白木材效果的乙烯基! ”

Kayleigh also posted the snap on her Instagram.

A number of people praised her savvy transformation. One said: "Omg what a transformation wow looks amazing". And another said: "From drab to fab, amazing".
