摘錄：她正要問朋友到底是怎麼回事時，男孩出現在了她的面前。他用手語告訴她：“我花了一年的時間來學習手語，就是爲了讓你明白我沒有忘記我們的誓言。給我一個機會讓我來做你的聲音吧。我愛你。”說着，他把戒指戴回了女孩的手指上。女孩終於笑了。

From the very beginning, the girl’s family objected strongly to her dating this guy, saying that it had got to do with family background and that the girl would have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.

Due to family’s pressure, the couple quarrelled very often. Though the girl loved the guy deeply, she always asked him, "How deep is your love for me?"

從一開始，女孩的家人就強烈反對她與那個男孩交往。他們說交朋友是要考慮到對方的家世的，如果她堅持與他在一起，以後一定會受苦。

由於家庭的壓力，這對情侶經常吵架。儘管女孩深深地愛着這個男孩，但她也總是會問他：“你到底有多愛我?”

As the guy was not good with his word this often caused the girl to be very upset. With that and the family’s pressure, the girl often vented1 her anger on him. As for him, he only endured it in silence.

After a few year the guy finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl,"I’m not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them round2. Will you marry me?"

由於男孩不善言辭，所以常常會引起女孩的不滿和焦躁。加之家庭的壓力，女孩常常跟他發脾氣。而他，也只有默默忍受了。

幾年後，男孩終於畢業了，並決定去海外繼續深造。出國前，他向女孩求婚：“我不太會說話，但我知道自己很愛你。如果你願意的話，我會照顧你一輩子。至於你的家人，我會盡我最大努力說服他們的。你願意嫁給我嗎?”

The girl agreed, and with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they were engaged.

The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was oversea continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails and phone calls. Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up.

女孩同意了。並且在男孩堅持不懈的努力下，女孩的家人也終於讓步，同意了他們的婚事。所以在男孩出國前，他們訂了婚。

於是，女孩步入社會開始了工作，而男孩則在國外繼續學習。他們通過電子郵件和電話彼此表達着愛意。儘管他們都感到很受煎熬，但誰也沒想過要放棄。

One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her but to find that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She had lost her voice ...

The doctor said that the impact on her brain had caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents’ comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down.

During the stay in hospital, she did nothing but cry silently every day. Upon reaching home, everything seemed to be the same, but the ringing tone of the phone pierced3 into her heart every time it rang. She did not wish to let the guy know her situation. And not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she did not wish to wait any longer.

可是，有一天，女孩在上班的路上，被一輛失控的汽車撞了。當她醒來時，看到自己的父母都在牀邊，她意識到自己一定傷得很重。看到媽媽在哭，她想去安慰她，卻發現自己嘴裏發出的的聲音只是一聲嘆息。她失聲了。

醫生說她大腦所受的撞擊使她失聲。聽着父母的安慰，但卻說不出話來，她崩潰了。

在醫院期間她每天只是默默地哭泣。回到家中，儘管一切看起來似乎都和從前一樣，但每一次來電話時的鈴聲卻刺痛着她的心。她不希望男孩知道她現在的情況，不想成爲他的負擔，於是她給他寫了一封信，說她不想再等下去了。

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions and millions of replie and countless phone call ... And all the girl could do, besides crying, was still crying ...

The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything and be happy.

With the new environment, the girl learnt sign language and started a new life. She told herself every day that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend visited her and told her that he was back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn’t any more news of him.

A year had passed quickly and her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy’s wedding. The girl was completely shattered4. When she opened the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what was going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her. He used sign language telling her, "I’ve spent a year’s time to learn sign language just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You." With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

隨信，她把戒指一併還給了他。收到後，男孩給她寫了無數封信，打了無數個電話，而女孩所能做的卻只是無聲地哭泣，再哭泣。

於是，女孩的父母決定搬家，藉以希望女兒忘掉一切，快樂起來。

在新環境裏，女孩學會了手語，開始了新生活。她每天都跟自己說一定要忘掉那個男孩。一天，她的一個朋友來看望她，並告訴她男孩回來了。她讓她的朋友不要告訴他發生在自己身上的一切。從此之後，就再也沒有了他的消息。

轉眼又是一年過去了，她的朋友再次來看望她，這次她帶來了一個信封，裏面裝着那個男孩婚禮的請柬。女孩完全呆住了。可是當她打開信封，卻發現上面印着的是自己的名字。

她正要問朋友到底是怎麼回事時，男孩出現在了她的面前。他用手語告訴她：“我花了一年的時間來學習手語，就是爲了讓你明白我沒有忘記我們的誓言。給我一個機會讓我來做你的聲音吧。我愛你。”說着，他把戒指戴回了女孩的手指上。女孩終於笑了。
