A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains.

Scene One: farmers working in the field (第一場：三個農民在地裏勞動)
1、音樂起，三個農民邊唱邊跳出場歌詞：We are farmers, we are farmers, happy happy happy!
2、三個農民在地裏勞動
Farmer A: Let’s have a rest, OK?
Farmer B C：OK!(農民下)
Scene Two: A boy is shepherding ( 第二場：一個小孩在放牧)
(男孩上，趕着一羣羊， 然後走到樹下休息)
Boy: (揮舞着他手中的鞭子)Hmn, I feel very humdrum. There is nobody here to talk with me. How humdrum!(嗯，太無聊了。這兒一個說話的人也沒有。真沒意思!)
Sheep: Baa…(咩咩……)
Boy: Um, I have a good idea. I am sure people will come soon.(嗯,我有了一個好主意.我相信人們很快就會來了。)
(大聲喊)a wolf is coming .A wolf is coming.(狼來了。狼來了。)
Scene Two: Some Farmers Are Working(第二場：幾個農民在幹活)
(山下，有幾名農民在幹活。他們聽到了 男孩的聲音。)
Boy: wolf is coming. A wolf is coming . Help!(狼來了。狼來了。救命啊!)
Farmer A: Hi, do you hear anyone crying? (嗨。你聽見有人在喊叫嗎?)
Farmer B 聽) Yes. It’s the shepherd’s voice.(是啊，是那牧童的聲音。)
Farmer C: (放下手中的活。) Yes. Let’s go and help him. Let’s kill the wolf. (是的，咱們去幫他。快去打狼吧。)
(越來越多的農民停下手中的活兒，拿着棍棒和農具上山了。)
Scene Three: The Farmers Are Fooled(第三場：農民被愚弄了)
(農民們拿着棍棒和農具爬上山。)
Farmer A: Where’s the wolf? Where is it? Can you see it? (狼呢?它在哪兒?你看見了嗎?)
Farmer C: Hi! Little boy! Are you all right? We are coming to kill the wolf. Where is it going? (嗨!小孩。你沒事吧?我們是來打狼的。狼在哪兒?)
Boy: Hahaha! Sorry. There’s no wolf here. I’m joking. Haha…(哈哈哈!對不起，這兒沒有狼，我開玩笑呢。哈哈哈……)
Farmer C: No wolf? You cheat us. It is not good to do this. (沒有狼?你騙我們。這樣做不好。)
Boy: Hahaha! What fools! Hahaha…… (哈!真傻!哈哈……)
(農民們很生氣，他們下山繼續幹活了。)
(不久，農民們又聽到來之山上的同樣的叫喊聲。)
Boy: A wolf is coming. A wolf is coming. Help! Help! (狼來了。狼來了。救命啊!救命啊!)
Farmer B (對 Farmer C說): Maybe the wolf is really coming. (或許這一次狼真的來了。)
Boy: Help! Help! Wolf …(救命啊!救命啊!狼來了…….)
Farmer C: Let’s go to the hill and kill the wolf . (咱們上山打狼去。)(他們向山頂爬，有人都累得爬不到山頂了。可是當他們爬到山頂時，卻發現根本沒有狼。)
Boy: Hahaha! Don’t angry with me, uncles. Why not sit down and have a chat? (哈哈哈!大叔大伯，你們別生氣。坐下來跟我聊會天，好嗎?)
Farmer A: You naughty boy! (你這頑皮的孩子!你可不應該再騙人啊!下次再也沒有人相信你了。)
Farmer B: The boy fool us again. Let’s go!(這孩子又騙人，咱們走!)
Farmer C: What a bad boy! Don’t believe him. (這孩子真不象話!別在理了。)(男孩笑彎了腰。農民們氣憤地離開了。)
Scene Four: A wolf Is Really Coming(第四場：狼真的來了)
(一個晴朗的早上，小孩在山頂上放羊。突然，他聽到一陣怪叫聲。狼真的來了。)
Boy: (他怕極了。) Wolf ! Wolf ! The wolf is really coming. Help! Help! (狼!狼!狼真的來了。快救命啊!)
Wolf: So many fat sheep. I can have a good lunch. (這麼多肥羊。我能吃頓豐盛的午餐了。)
Boy: The wolf is coming. Help ! The wolf is coming. Help!(狼來了。救命!)(可是這一次沒有人來。狼咬死一隻羊，又去追那孩子。小孩摔下山坡。他被救了。 打那以後，他再也不敢撒謊了。)

農夫們氣喘吁吁地趕到山上一看，連狼的影子也沒有!放羊娃哈哈大笑：“真有意思，你們上當了!”農夫們生氣地走了。
第二天，放羊娃故伎重演，善良的農夫們又衝上來幫他打狼，可還是沒有見到狼的影子。放羊娃笑得直不起腰：“哈哈!你們又上當了!哈哈!”
大夥兒對放羊娃一而再再而三地說謊十分生氣，從此再也不相信他的話了。
過了幾天，狼真的來了，一下子闖進了羊羣。放羊娃害怕極了，拼命地向農夫們喊：“狼來了!狼來了!快救命呀!狼真的來了!”
農夫們聽到他的喊聲，以爲他又在說謊，大家都不理睬他，沒有人去幫他，結果放羊娃的許多羊都被狼咬死了。
