妮可•基德曼：是否繼續演藝事業？這是個問題
Australian actress Nicole Kidman said on Tuesday she was unsure of her future as an actor as there were others things she wanted to do, such as possibly having more children.
Kidman, 41, has three children -- four-month-old daughter Sunday Rose with her country singer husband Keith Urban, with whom she lives with in Nashville, and two children adopted during her first marriage to actor Tom Cruise.
The Oscar-winning actress, in Sydney for the world premiere of her latest movie "Australia," acknowledged some of her recent films had not been a great success, saying she had "quirky taste."
"In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don't know," she told a news conference.
"I am in a place in my life where ... I've had some great opportunities and I may just choose to have some more children. I've no idea what is in my future but I am very at peace with where I want to be.
"There are many things I want to do besides act."
Kidman, who won an Oscar for her role as writer Virginia Woolf in "The Hours" in 2002, has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars, often described as Australia's "leading lady."
But in recent years her movie credits have included "Birth," "The Interpreter," "Fur," "The Invasion" and "Margot at the Wedding," all of which failed to take off at the box-office.
"But that's my body of work. I am not going to apologize for it. I have kind of unusual taste and sometimes it's mainstream and a lot of times it's not," she said.
澳大利亞影星妮可•基德曼於本週二表示，她目前還不確定今後是否會繼續演藝生涯，因爲她還想做一些其它的事情，比如再生幾個孩子。
今年41歲的基德曼有三個孩子——與鄉村歌手丈夫凱斯•厄本所生的四個月大的女兒Sunday Rose，以及與前夫湯姆•克魯斯領養的兩個孩子。目前基德曼與厄本居住在美國的納什維爾。
這位奧斯卡影后日前在悉尼出席新片《澳大利亞》的全球首映禮時坦言，她最近的幾部電影都不是很成功，這可能和她的“古怪品味”有關。
她在新聞發佈會上說：“至於今後是否還會繼續做演員之類的，我也不知道。”
“現在我正處於人生的一個拐點，有一些很好的機會，但又想再生幾個孩子。我還沒想好今後的打算，不過我對現在的生活很滿意。除了做演員之外，我還有很多想做的事情。”
2002年，基德曼憑藉飾演影片《時時刻刻》中的女作家維吉妮亞•沃爾夫一角奪得奧斯卡最佳女主角，她已躋身好萊塢頂級影星之列，並常被稱作澳大利亞“一姐”。
但她近幾年的幾部作品，包括《重生》、《翻譯風波》、《皮囊》、《致命拜訪》和《婚禮上的瑪戈特》等，票房都不是太好。
她說：“不管怎麼說，那些都是我的作品。我不會爲此去道歉。我的口味有點怪，有時符合大衆口味，但很多時候是不符合。”
