到2020年我國養老服務市場將全面放開

China will fully open its elderly care market by 2020, according to a guideline published by General Office of the State Council.

國務院辦公廳日前印發的意見提出，到2020年，我國將全面放開養老服務市場。

The move will substantially increase the supply of products and services in the market, standardize regulations and raise service quality, the guideline said.

意見稱，此舉將使相關產品和服務供給得以大幅提升，法規得以規範，服務質量得以提高。

Foreign investment in the sector will be facilitated and administrative approval procedures simplified, it said.

意見提出，將爲境外投資進入養老領域創造條件，精簡行政審批環節。

The document also said the government would step up reforms of public elderly care institutions and build a credit system for the sector. Authorities would work to raise service quality of elderly care.

該意見還表示，政府將加強公共養老機構的改革，建立部門的信貸體系。有關部門將努力提高老年護理的服務質量。

The government would also adjust land, employment and finance policies to support the sector, the document said.

該意見稱，政府還將調整土地、就業和財政政策，以扶持該行業。

China's aging society is a major social issue. There are currently more than 220 million people over 60 years old in the country, 16.1% of the population, with numbers growing.

我國的老齡化社會是一個重大的社會問題。目前我國60歲以上人口超過2.2億，佔總人口比重的16.1%，這兩個數值還在不斷上升。
