Former world No 2 tennis star Li Na has given birth to her first child, nine months after announcing her retirement from the professional game.

6月3日凌晨2時25分，世界排名第二的前網球明星李娜的第一個孩子出生。

The 33-year-old, who was forced to quit professional tennis with a chronic knee injury, announced her news on Twitter via her management company IMG Tennis. The account posted a picture of Li Na, alongside her husband Dennis and newborn baby Alisa, born at 2.25am on June 3.

現年33歲的李娜通過其經紀公司IMG網球部在推特上發佈了喜訊，還曬出了自己與丈夫姜山、剛出生的女兒艾麗莎的全家福。9個月前，李娜因慢性膝關節損傷宣佈退役，不得不結束網球職業生涯。

Li Na also released the news early Wednesday morning on her Weibo account, and posted a photo of her daughter's foot.

6月3日清晨，李娜也在新浪微博上公佈消息，並曬出女兒的小腳印。
