我國計劃將器官移植醫院數增加至300家

China is to increase the number of organ transplant hospitals from 169 to about 300 by 2020, according to the chairman of the National Organ Donation and Transplantation Committee.

近日，中國人體器官捐獻與移植委員會主任表示，到2020年，我國可做器官移植手術的醫院數量將由169家增至約300家。

Huang Jiefu said the increase will enable the nation to become the world leader in terms of the number of lifesaving procedures performed.

黃潔夫表示，這一數量的增長將使我國成爲器官移植手術開展量方面的全球領軍者。

Huang, the former deputy minister of health, was speaking at an annual awareness-raising event held by the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Red Cross Society of China in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province.

前衛生部副部長黃潔夫是在由國家衛生和計劃生育委員會及中國湖北省武漢市紅十字會舉行的年度宣傳活動中這樣表示的。

In 2010, the two organizations set up China's public organ donation system in an attempt to end long-term dependence on death row inmates as major organ donors for transplants.

在2010年，這兩家機構建立了中國的公共器官捐獻系統，試圖結束長期以來依賴死刑犯作爲主要器官捐獻來源的移植。

By February, 6,238 Chinese citizens had donated organs after death, saving 16,827 patients, according to the Red Cross.

根據紅十字會表示，截止今年2月，共有6238名中國公民在死亡之後捐獻器官，並最終挽救了16827名病人。

"China has achieved a transition from relying on executed prisoners as a major source of organ donations," Huang said. "We're opening more transplant centers, and will have about 300 by 2020."

黃潔夫表示：“中國已經實現了從依靠死刑犯作爲器官捐獻的主要來源的轉變。我們將開設更多的移植中心，到2020年將會擁有300家。”

China now has the most registered organ donors in Asia. China currently performs about 10,000 organ transplant surgeries annually. However, there are 30,000 patients awaiting transplants each year.

目前，我國是亞洲登記器官捐獻人數最多的國家。當前，我國每年開展約1萬臺器官移植手術。然而，每年等待進行這類手術的患者數量達3萬名。

Huang said more surgeons are being trained, and with increasing organ donation awareness, "we'll open more organ transplant hospitals to save more lives".

黃潔夫稱，我國正在培養更多外科醫生；隨着器官捐獻意識的增強，我們將開設更多可做器官移植的醫院，挽救更多生命。
