7月起北京市婚姻登記必須有頒證儀式

From July 1, Beijing residents getting married will enjoy a free simple ceremony when registering at any civil affairs bureau.

從今年7月1日起，登記結婚的北京市民都可以在各個民政局享受到一個免費、簡單的頒證儀式。

This is the first amendment to the marriage registration rules since 2005.

這是自2005年以來第一次對婚姻登記條例進行修訂。

Announcing the move, the director of the marriage registration department at Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, Han Mingxi, said the new rules emphasized the importance and authority of registration, aiming to remind new couples to respect and cherish their marriage.

北京市民政局婚姻登記處主任韓明希表示，這項新的條例強調了婚姻登記的重要性和權威性，目的是提醒新人尊重和珍惜婚姻。

Those who wear clothing that's too casual and informal will be advised to get changed, said Han, as informal dress shows no respect for marriage.

韓主任表示，對於那些穿着隨意的新人，我們會給予提醒，因爲穿着隨意表現了對婚姻的不尊重。

New couples will be able to invite their family and friends to witness their registration in a wedding ceremony decorated hall, with some wedding rituals such as the expression of gratitude to parents and the exchange of love tokens.

婚姻登記處將設立裝飾好的結婚儀式大廳，新人可以邀請家人和朋友見證他們登記時刻，可以伴隨一些與結婚相關的儀式，例如感謝父母，交換愛情信物等。

Local Civil Affairs Bureaus will also provide a free group registration ceremony at parks or other places according to the wishes of the couple.

根據新人意願，當地民政局也會提供在公園等地進行的登記儀式組團活動。

During registration, staff will also offer a free marriage consultation service to couples, suggesting proper child education arrangements, and advising on how to handle relations between wives and their mother-in-laws - the two main causes for marriage breakdown in China.

在婚姻登記時，工作人員將爲新人提供免費的婚姻諮詢服務，例如今後如何給予孩子合適的教育，以及怎樣處理中國婚姻的棘手問題--婆媳關係。

Other amendments include door-to-door marriage registration service for senior couples, a free copy of registration materials, and appointments for Saturday registration. (No appointments are needed for marriage registrations from Monday to Friday).

婚姻登記的其他修訂方面還包括：爲老年人提供上門登記服務，免費複製登記資料以及週六登記預約（週一到週五登記不需要預約）。
