職場英語日記 第33期:噩夢
I just awoke from the scariest dream. I was running through the stairwell of a building. I think it was one of the dormitory buildings from my university, but it was different and a little one was chasing me but I didn't know who or why. I just knew that I had done something terribly wrong and someone was trying to kill me in revenge.
我被一個很可怕的夢給嚇醒了。我夢到自己在一棟建築的樓梯井跑着，好像是以前大學的一棟學生宿舍，可是不太一樣，看起來有點陌生。有人在追我，我不知道是誰，也不知道他幹嗎追我。我只知道自己闖了大禍，有人要殺我報仇。
At first I just felt anxious, but it turned to pure fear as I tried to get out of the stairwell. All the doors were locked. I ran to the top of the stairs and there were two last doors.
起初只是擔心， 後來想跑出樓梯井時已經變成全然的恐懼。每扇門都鎖住了，於是我跑到最上面的樓梯，那裏還有兩扇門。Somehow I knew that behind one of the doors was something awful and frightening, but I didn't know which one. I trembled and froze on the spot. Then I heard someone coming up the stair closer and closer and I lunged for one of the doors, praying that it wouldn't be locked.
不知何故，我知道其中一扇門後面有些恐怖的東西很嚇人，只是不曉得是哪一扇。我就這樣愣在那兒，一邊還在發抖，接着又聽到有人上樓的聲音，離我越來越近。我暗自祈禱門沒鎖，就往其中一扇門衝去。
The door opened and I ran through it. All of a sudden, I was falling through the air. My heart jumped and I woke uo i a cold swest. It was only 4 am, but I got up because I was too scared to fall back asleep.
門開了，我也衝了進去。突然間整個人開始往下墜。心臟猛地一跳，我醒了，嚇出了一身冷汗。雖然才凌晨4點，但我已經被嚇得不敢再回去睡，只好起牀。What do you think ot means?
