Meghan Markle has seamlessly transitioned into her new life in England, but the newly minted Duchess of Sussex may be missing her native 36-year-old royal is reportedly taking a solo trip the US ahead of an official visit with Prince Harry, 33, in 2019.

'She's planning a personal, unofficial trip this summer to see family and friends,' a source told. 'She'll go to New York, then LA.' It is reported that Meghan wants to return to her home country before becoming a mother for the first time. 'Expect to hear the pitter-patter of a little prince or princess in 2019,' a source told the outlet.

The solo excursion will reportedly come before she and Harry embark on their first royal tour this fall. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are slated to visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga in October.
