原因狀語從句：使用because的五點注意

原因狀語從句是狀語從句中較爲簡單的一種，是用於解釋事件發生原因的狀語從句，在日常生活中的使用率也非常多，because是原因狀語從句非常重要的引導詞，小編這次就爲大家帶來使用because需要注意的要點，一起來看看吧！

注意一  because 除用於引導原因狀語從句外，還可引出表語從句。如：
It is because he is too foolish. 那是因爲他太蠢了。
It is because you’re eating too much. 那是因爲你吃得太多了。

注意二  漢語可以說“因爲……所以……”，但是英語卻不能使用 because…so…這樣的結構。改正的辦法是，要麼去掉其中的because，使之成爲並列句；要麼去掉so，使之成爲主從複合句。如：
因爲他很忙，所以不能來。
誤：Because he is very busy, so he can’t come.
正：Because he is very busy, he can’t come.
正：He is very busy, so he can’t come.

注意三  漢語說“之所以……是因爲……”，說成英語通常是The reason (why)…is that… 其中的that最好不用because代替。如：
The reason (why) I’m late is that [because] I missed the bus. 我遲到的原因是因爲我沒有趕上公共汽車。

注意四  在 not...because... 這一結構中，not 有時否定主句，有時否定從句，具體視語境而定。一般說來，若 not 否定主句， 最好在because 之前用逗號，否則會引起歧義，如下句在沒有特定上下文時就有兩種解釋：
I didn’t go because I was afraid.
a. 我沒有去是因爲怕。
b. 我不是因爲怕纔去。
但是若 because 之前有 just 修飾，一般認爲 not 是否定從句而不是主句。如：
You shouldn’t get angry just because some people speak ill of you. 你不要因爲有人說你壞話而生氣。

注意五  用於複合介詞because of，其後可接名詞、代詞、動名詞、what 從句等。如：
He is here because of you (that). 他爲你(那事)而來這裏。
We said nothing about it, because of his wife’s being there. 因爲他妻子在那兒，我們對此隻字未提。
He left the company because of what the boss said at the meeting. 他離開了這家公司，是因爲老闆在會上講的話。
但是，because of後不能直接跟that從句或者是沒有引導詞的從句。如：
由於我的病我不能幹這工作。
正：I can’t do the work because of my illness.
正：I can’t do the work because I’m ill.
誤：I can’t do the work because of I’m ill.
誤：I can’t do the work because of that I’m ill.
