英語中指示代詞的用法講解
根據代詞的含義、特點和句中的作用，可以分爲人稱代詞、物主代詞、疑問代詞、指示代詞、自身代詞、相互代詞、關係代詞、不定代詞8類。
3.指示代詞
表示“這個、那個、這些、那些”指向作用的代詞叫作指示代詞。
指示代詞有this, that, these, those。
this, these指在時間或者空間上離說話人較近的人或者物。
that, those指在時間或者空間上離說話人較遠的人或者物。
3.1指示代詞的一般用法
1)作主語
This is a special gift.
這是一個特別的禮物。
2)作表語
What he wants is just this.
他想要的只是這個。
3)作賓語
Take these with you.
把這些帶上。
4)作定語
Have you visited those villages?
你去過那些村莊嗎?
3.2指示代詞的特殊用法
1)that, those常用來代替前面的名詞，以免重複
The winter here is much warmer than that(=winter) in Beijing.
這兒的冬天比北京(的冬天)溫暖得多。
The dishes in this restaurant are better thanthose (=dishes) in the restaurant we visited two days ago.
這家餐館的菜比我們兩天前去的那家(的)菜好些。
2)this和that有時用於代替上文(下文)的一句話或者情況
The song goes like this：
歌是這樣唱的：
That is why we have to work hard.
那正是我們必須下功夫的原因。
They had a car crash, and that delayed them for 2 hours.
他們撞車了，那(撞車事故)耽誤了他們兩個小時。
