  英語語法填空解題技巧與方法

語法填空是通過語篇在語境中考察語法知識的運用能力,我們在解題時可遵循“三步走” 瀏覽全文,瞭解大意; 邊讀邊填,先易後難 ;驗證覈查,清楚難點。

語法填空的考察形式分爲兩大類:無提示詞填空類; 提示性詞填空類

一.無提示詞類。 即純空格題。(只限一個單詞)

純空格填空題主要是填冠詞(a/ an /the)、介詞、代詞、連接詞(含從屬連詞和並列連詞)等虛詞.。

技巧1:在簡單句和並列句中,若句子缺主語或賓語,一定是填代詞。 技巧2:若兩個句子(即兩個主謂結構)之間沒有連詞,也沒有分號或句號,一定是填並列連詞(連接並列的句子)或從屬連詞(連接定語從句、名詞性從句和狀語從句(以句子爲單位)

二.提示性填空類。 即用所給詞的適當形式填空,(此類題填空不超過三個單詞)。 此類型的題一般考察動詞的時態、語態、單複數 ;動詞非謂語(to do / done/ 。 注意:(一)、.判斷要填的動詞是謂語動詞還是非謂語動詞。要從以下兩點進行思考:

(1). 若句子沒有別的謂語動詞,或者雖然已有謂語動詞,但需填的動詞與之是並列關係時,所給動詞就是謂語動詞;若是謂語動詞,就要考慮時態語態和單複數 1 . Friends can always _____________(trust),loved and respected.

1. 作表語(在系動詞之後)用形容詞;形名副動;

  英語語法填空解題方法與技巧

1. 通讀全文,把握大意。

既然是通過語篇在語境中考語法,那麼,我們在解題前,應快速瀏覽短文,把握全文大意,這一步非常重要。

2. 結合語境,試填空格。

讀懂短文之後,要結合短文所提供的特定的語言環境,從句子結構的完整性去分析思考空格所缺單詞的詞性,再根據句子的結構和意義,以及句子之間的邏輯關係來確定具體要填的單詞和所給詞的正確形式。具體來說,可按設題類型分爲三類情況:

(1)純空格試題的解題技巧。

首先,分析句子結構,確定填哪類詞。然後,再根據句子的意思,確定具體填什麼詞;或根據兩句間的邏輯關係確定具體用哪個連詞。

(2)給出了動詞的試題的解題技巧

首先,判斷要填的動詞是謂語動詞還是非謂語動詞。然後按以下兩點進行思考。

若句中沒有別的謂語動詞,或者雖然已有謂語動詞,但需填的動詞與之是並列關係時,所給動詞就是謂語動詞;若是謂語動詞,就要考慮時態語態。

若句中已有謂語動詞,又不是並列謂語時,所給動詞就是非謂語動詞。若是非謂語動詞就要確定用—ing形式、—ed形式,還是用不定式形式,

(3)、詞類轉換題的解題技巧

根據該詞在句子所作句子成分確定用哪種形式。具體方法有:

技巧1:作表語、定語或補語,通常用形容詞形式。如:

[例1] The youngster immediately fell ________ (silence) as tears flew down from his big blue eyes.

[例2] In a ________ (danger) part of the sea off the coast of New Zealand, they learnt to…

技巧2:作主語、在及物動詞或介詞後作賓語,用名詞形式。如:

[例3] These people have made great ___39___ (contribute) to China with their work.

[例4] …instructors expect students to be familiar with ___32___ (inform) in the reading…

技巧3:在形容詞性物主代詞後,或者在“冠詞(+形容詞)”後,用名詞形式。如:

技巧4:修飾動詞、形容詞、副詞,或整個句子,作狀語,用副詞形式。如:

技巧5:括號中所給動詞不一定是考動詞的時態語態或非謂語動詞,而是考詞類轉換;若是形容詞或副詞,有可能是考查其比較等級。如:

[例10]The other frog went on jumping as hard as he could…He jumped even ___36___ (hard) and finally made himself out

3. 重讀全文,解決難題。

在解題過程中要先易後難,難題在大部分空格填好後,再經過仔細推敲,難題也就不會再難了。所有空格填好後,把整篇文章從頭至尾復讀一遍。

1. 根據語法知識進行填充

第1題,由than可知,precious要用比較級,多音節形容詞的比較級在前面加more,故此題答案爲more。 第7題,因there are…是個句子,do not…應是一個定語從句,缺主語,先行詞是人,應填who。

2. 根據邏輯關係進行填充

就是根據上下文的邏輯關係來解題。

第2題,因前句用Why提問,應當用Because來回答,故此題答案是Because。

3. 根據語篇標誌進行填充

語篇是指比單個句子長的語言單位(句羣、段落、篇章等)。語篇間往往有標明內在聯繫的詞,我們稱這些詞爲“語篇標誌詞”。如表示結構層次的有first, second, third, finally等;表示邏輯關係的有thus,therefore,so等;表示轉折關係或變換話題的有however, but, by the way等。“語篇標誌詞”對迅速理清文章的脈絡,弄清上下文關係很有幫助。

第3題,由表示轉折的However可知,是指當時間失去的時候,表示“失去”是gone。

第5題,由表示結果的Therefore可知,應充分利用時間,故用形容詞full或good來修飾名詞use。

4. 根據固定詞組進行填充

熟練掌握一些常見的詞組,如as a matter of, be proud of, by the way, come from, ..., ..., earn one’s living, keep one’s word, make up one’s mind等,對解題很有幫助。

第6題,表示“在將來”是固定詞組in the future。

5. 根據句型搭配進行填充

就是根據一些常用的句型搭配,如so/..., it is...(for sb.) to do sth., there is no doubt that..., there is no sense in doing sth.等來解題。

第4題,做形式主語,用It,真正的主語是後面的that從句。

6. 根據詞彙知識進行填充

指根據某些詞語在用法上的特殊搭配來解題。如下列各類動詞必須牢記:只能接動詞的-ing形式做賓語的動詞,只能接to do做賓語的動詞,接to do做補語的動詞,接do做補語的動詞,接doing或done做補語的動詞,對句式搭配要求較爲特別的詞語,等等。

第8題,由time smoking可想到是spend/waste time (in) doing句型,這是由spend/waste的用法所決定的;這裏是一般現在時,主語是複數,填spend或waste。

第9題,因of是介詞,介詞後的動詞通常要用-ing形式,故填saving。

7. 根據生活常識進行填充

第10題,結合生活常識,不難理解句意爲“不要把今天能做的事推遲到明天去做”,答案自然是表示“直到”的until/till。
