音素、音標的概念

(1)音素是記錄英語語音的最小單位，英語共48個音素，20個元音，28個輔音。

(2)音標是記錄音素的符號，現在我們用國際上通用的48個音標來記錄英語語音。爲了把音標與字母進行區分，常把音標放在[ ]或者/ /裏。

音標的分類

記錄英語音素的48個音標可分爲元音和輔音兩大類。

元音：發音時聲帶振動，呼出的氣流在通過口腔時，不受阻礙發出的語音叫做元音。國際音標中有20個元音，裏面包括12個單元音和8個雙元音。
