B：Yes, I think I speak English quite fluently. I've often explained historical places in Xi'an to foreign tourists in English. They say my English is quite good.

A：How long have you been learning2 English?

B：Oh, more than ten years. I started learning English when I was still in a primary school from a foreign teacher.

對話中出現幾個單詞值得大家注意：

Ease: 安逸，安心。但是在這段對話中是指輕鬆，靈活地說英語。

Background:

口語和聊天相比，有具有以下幾個明顯的特點：一是主題的明確性。面試時的口語有一個明確的中心，應試者必須按照招聘單位指定的中心內容進行論述的交談。不像日常聊天那樣經常轉換話題，話題具有不可預測性，如果應聘時口語離開中心漫無邊際地亂扯，或者答非所問，即使講的頭頭是道，也只能以失敗而告終。二是表達的邏輯性。日常的聊天往往是句式鬆懈、重複累贅、條理不清、顛三倒四，而求職面試的口語則必須講究表達的邏輯性，要求概念清晰、語意連貫、層次分明、推理嚴密、言之有據。三是詞語的文雅性。日常聊天經常使用俚語、諺語、歇後語等，具有俚俗性、俏皮性特點。而求職面試時使用的口語必須莊重、文雅、充分體現出求職者高雅的氣質和高尚的風貌。四是較強的表演性。日常聊天時的口語對語音、語調的要求並不高，語言中的弱化、模糊和脫離現象經常出現。而求職面試時的口語既要求語言規範、清晰，又要求其語調富於變化，也就是說，在口語的表達上要求有較強的表現力，富有表演性。
