The Bank Rate
在美國，聯邦和省政府也可以向中央銀行告貸。中央銀行必須公佈它的放貸利率，這便是央行利率（the Bank Rate）。
在國內，央行基準利率是人民銀行公佈的商業銀行存款、貸款、貼現等業務的指導性利率，各金融機構的存款利率可以在基準利率基礎上下浮10%，貸款利率可以在基準利率基礎上下浮20%。
我們來看2個例句：
That is to say, borrowings by banks from the central bank are made costlier by raising the bank rate.
也就是說，通過提高銀行利率，增加商業銀行向中央銀行的貸款成本。
