FER
國際貿易中需要結算，所以我們需要有外國的貨幣，這就是FER（Foreign Exchange Reserve，外匯儲備）。
貿易順差和資本流入集中到本國央行內就形成外匯儲備。FER主要用於清償國際收支逆差，以及當本國貨幣被大量拋售時，利用外匯儲備買入本國貨幣干預外匯市場，以維持該國貨幣的匯率。
我們來看2個例句：
The continuous increase of the foreign exchange reserve has guaranteed RMB to be in the further consolidated position.
外匯儲備的不斷增加確保了人民幣地位的進一步鞏固。
On your second question, China never intends to seek for a trade surplus nor the increase of foreign exchange reserve.
關於第二個問題，中方從來不刻意追求貿易順差，也不刻意追求外匯儲備的增長。
