在商貿活動中，租賃是較爲常見的一種經濟行爲。
租賃是指按照達成的契約（lease contract），出租人（leaser）把擁有的特定財產在特定時期內的使用權轉讓給承租人（lessee），承租人按照協定支付租金的交易行爲。
這一行爲中會有明確的租賃契約（lease contract），租賃期（lease term），租賃條件（lease conditions）等要素。
