小提醒：下文中提到的 A 是你自己，B 則是你要找的人，或者是對方要找的人。
接 / 打電話問候語
Hello?
非正式用法，通常是接到熟識的人的來電，才用這個字。
A speaking
假設你的名字是 Adele，接電話時絕對別說 Hello, I’m Adele. 而是 Hello, Adele speaking.
這個用法也可以說成 Hello, it’s Adele 或 It’s Adele calling 或 This is AdeleCalling.
甚至當別人問說 Is Adele there? 你可以直接回答 This is she. 所以如果你是男性，要回答 This is he。
Can I help you?
這一句就是我們電話開頭常說的「有什麼事嗎?」的意思。
This is A speaking/ calling.
當你打電話給對方，自我介紹的時候，就可以這樣說。
指名要找某人
這兩個用法爲非正式，打給較熟識的人才這樣用。

假設你要找的人是 David，電話撥通後要說 David, please.。
下面這兩句則是正式用法，尤其第一句通常用在公事往來的通話中。

請稍等
當你接聽電話後，如果對方是要找別的人，可以用以下幾句表示「請稍等」。
非正式用法，可用在與熟人的對話：
Just a second.
Hang on. I’ll get B.
正式用法：
Hold the line please.
Could you hold on, please?
Just a moment, please.
One moment, please.
以下兩句都可接在上面的句子後，表示「幫你找看看 B」。

當你接聽電話後，對方要找的人「不方便接聽」時，可以用以下這幾句話表示。

碰到對方打錯電話：
