我正在收集家裏所有的奶嘴，因爲從今天開始，Joe將完全戒掉它。好了，Joe，如果你想的話就再吸最後一口。

Go cold turkey 突然完全戒除…
在戒菸、戒酒時也可以用到這個表達。比如下面兩個例句：
① Going cold turkey is definitely not the best way to quit smoking.
立馬完全停止吸菸絕對不是戒菸的最好辦法。
② The only way to quit smoking is to do it cold turkey and get the nicotine out of your system.
戒菸的最好方法就是突然停止吸，然後把你身體裏的尼古丁都消除。

quit something cold turkey 突然完全戒除…
也可以說 stop something cold turkey.
除了戒菸戒酒，還可以形容戒掉玩遊戲癮，比如下面例句：
