1．she's a natural crier.
她是個天生愛哭的人。
natural：used to describe behaviour that is part of the character that a person or an animal was born with 天生的；本能的；與生俱來的
如：Remember that these weaknesses are natural.
記住這些弱點是天生的。
2. He's really a law-down dirty shame.
他真是個不知羞恥的傢伙。
law-down dirty shame“不知羞恥的”
*不知羞恥還可以用shameless,to know no shame,faceless等來表達。但如果是要表達出有點蔑視的味道，a law-down dirty shame更合適。
如： I wouldn't like to have anything to do with a law-down dirty shame like her.
我可不想和她那樣不知羞恥的人有任何來往。
3．He's good-time charlie, feeling no worries and anxieties.
他可是個樂天派，整天無憂無慮的。
good-time charlie 漢語中“樂天派”可以用optimistic來表示，也可以用good-humored。但是上述表達法缺乏口語色彩，而用good-time Charlie比較合適。
情景模擬：
A：Do you know Tom?
你認識湯姆嗎？
B：Yeah. We go long back. What do you think of him?
認識。我們很久之前就認識了。你覺得他怎麼樣？
A: He's good-time Charlie, feeling no worries and anxieties.
他是個樂天派，整天無憂無慮的。
's said to be a jinx.
有人說她是掃帚星。
我們中國人說的“掃帚星”其實是個比喻，通常指不吉利的人或物。其實“掃帚星”指的是“彗星”。在英語中沒有對應的比喻義的翻譯，不能譯爲“comet”，應該是jinx。
例如：I've heard of her. She's said to be a jinx, who would bring bad luck to whoever she marries.
我聽說過她，有人說她是個掃帚星，誰跟她結婚都會倒黴。
5．li ming has a lot on the ball.
李明很能幹。

有能力的或有效率的：
a teacher who is really on the ball.
能幹的老師。
a manager who has a lot on the ball;
a student who has nothing on the ball.
一個很能幹的經理；一名什麼也不會的學生。
's really a party animal.
他真的是個聚會狂。
party animal指的是特別喜歡參加聚會的人，也就是聚會狂，他們哪怕一次聚會也不會落下。要注意，這裏animal說的可是人哦，並不是把人貶低成了動物。
如：I'd love to invite that party animal to the party. He'd liven up the mood!
我很喜歡邀請那個派對狂來參加我們的派對。他能使整個氣氛熱烈起來。
10. Li ming is the black sheep of his family.
李明是個敗家子。
a black sheep“敗家子”此短語源於諺語 There is a black sheep in every flock.（每羣羊裏都有一隻黑綿羊）
如：Dick is a black sheep, always bringing touble to his family.
Dick是個敗家子，總給家裏招惹麻煩。
're still wet behind the ears.
你還嫩點兒。
Wet behind the ears如果直譯: 耳朵背後是潮的。這個習慣用語流行至今差不多有一個世紀了。它可能來自這樣的說法: 小馬、小牛剛生下來的時候全身溼漉漉的；別的地方很快會幹，但是耳朵背後卻還是溼的。所以說某人耳朵背後是潮的，是把這人比作剛生下不久的嬰兒了。
換句話說就是他簡直像新生兒一般幼稚無知。
如：He was too wet behind the ears to bear such responsibilities.
他太年輕了，不能擔此重任。
boy never says uncle.
那個孩子的嘴特別硬。
never says uncle 嘴硬，不服輸
如：He never says uncle. He's never heard to admit that he's wrong.
他可是個嘴硬的孩子,從沒聽他認過錯
9. He always likes to play a lone hand.
他喜歡單槍匹馬地去幹。
play a lone hand 〔美國〕獨個兒工作[旅行、生活]，不靠別人
如：He's not the sort to enter into prefers to play a lone hand.
他是不喜歡和別人合夥的，他寧願單幹。
