A: The weather has been terrible this week.
甲：這星期的天氣一直很糟。
B: Yeah, I'm worried. If it's like this tomorrow, our big outdoor party will have to be canceled．
乙：是啊，我好擔心。假如明天天氣還是如此，那麼我們的大型戶外派對就得取消了。
A: Let's hope it clears up.
甲：希望天氣放晴吧。

“I'm worried．”句中的worried是形容詞，其後亦可接介詞about，再接名詞，表示“擔心……”。
I'm worried about Judy's whereabouts.（我擔心朱蒂的下落。）
另外，worry亦可作及物動詞，有下列重要用法：
It worries me sick.（這件事情令我擔心死了。）
