2. 詞鏈兒：cut XX down （公開）侮辱、辱罵、傷害

I can't believe she cut me down in front of the entire department just because I was a few minutes late to the meeting.

真不敢相信，就因爲我晚到了幾分鐘，她就當着整個部門的人羞辱我。

3. 詞鏈兒：drown XX out 由於自然災害（暴風、洪水等），被迫離家

→mean to do 打算、故意做某事
