Notes: steer clear of 是俚語，表示避開，繞開。後面的賓語可以是人，也可以是事。例如：

Notes: in a big way的意思是徹底的，充分的。劇中Beth用這個短語來表達自己已經完全走出了失戀的陰影。再看一些例句：

5. pan out
以某種方式發展
Maybe in the future sometime. I don’t know. With someone else. Get to see how it pans out. Ok?

Notes: pan out表示事情以某種方式發展。例如：
We are happy because things pan out as we expect.
