朱莉透露慈母心聲 讓孩子獨立最重要
安吉麗娜-朱莉與布拉德-比特一道撫養着六個孩子，而對朱莉來說，沒有什麼比讓子女們成爲有着獨立而完整個性的個體更重要的事了。她說：“希望孩子們感到父母深切的愛，以及安穩的環境。同時，我們還希望能培養起他們的個性，讓他們去發現自我，並坦誠的接受自我，使他們成爲六個整整堅強獨立的個體。”
這位奧斯卡提名的女星還透露，培養孩子的個性的一部分便是讓他們有自我認同感，同時，朱莉也表示，最近關於她允許女兒Shiloh理短髮着男裝所引起的爭議，對此她非常不解。她告訴《You》雜誌，“我覺得這事容不得別人評頭論足，她喜歡穿男孩子的衣服，她想要把頭髮剪得像男生一樣短，她還想要我們暫時叫她‘約翰’，有的小孩喜歡戴面具，或者打扮成超人的模樣，Shiloh也只是想和她的哥哥們一個樣子。”

Angelina Jolie raises six children with her man Brad Pitt, and she says she wants nothing more for her kids than for them to be comfortable with themselves.
She said: "Hopefully I'm giving my children the sense that they are deeply loved and deeply safe. At the same time we are hopefully encouraging their individuality as they get to know who they are, and not getting in the way of that. That's why they are six very strong individuals."
The Oscar-winning star revealed part of encouraging her children's individuality is allowing them to develop their own identities, and she admitted she can't understand the recent controversy that erupted when she allowed her daughter Shiloh to cut her hair short and dress like a boy.
Angelina added to YOU Magazine: "I don't think it's for the world to interpret anything. She likes to dress like a boy and wants her hair cut like a boy and she wanted to be called John for a while. Some kids wear capes and want to be Superman and she wants to be like her brothers.
