A: What did your parents do when they heard you were thrown in prison for vandalizing public property?

【語言點精講】

dismayed: 因爲恐懼而嚇得手腳發軟或無力繼續。

vandalize: 肆意破壞(私人或公共財產);搗毀。

snuck: sneak的過去式，偷偷地走，溜走。

shy: 怯懦並很容易被嚇到;害羞。

uptight: 緊張不安的，神經過敏的。

cold feet: 害怕，膽怯;信心或勇氣的喪失。

scaredy cats: 形容某人不夠勇敢，缺乏勇氣，本性懦弱。是一個用來奚落別人的短語。

in a cold sweat: 由於驚嚇或者害怕而出了一身的冷汗。sweat，汗。
