巴黎有很多北非的移民，這些人當然也帶來了家鄉的美食，比如北非的蒸粗麥粉 couscous 現在就在巴黎流行，它甚至還曾被巴黎人投票爲最喜歡的食品。

Another popular Paris comfort food is couscous. In 2006, couscous was even voted Parisians favorite dish — beating out classics like beef bourguignon and cassoulet. Due to the many North African immigrants in Paris, there are lots of couscous restaurants, each with its own regional variation. 

另一種備受歡迎的巴黎美食是蒸粗麥粉。2006年蒸粗麥粉甚至擊敗了法式紅酒燴牛肉和法式鍋菜等經典美食，被評爲巴黎人最喜歡的食物。由於巴黎有很多北非移民，所以當地有很多賣蒸粗麥粉的餐館，每家都有自己的地方特色。
