印度法官裁定婚前性行爲"反宗教"
A court in the Indian capital, Delhi, has said that pre-marital sex was "immoral" and against the "tenets of every religion".
在印度首都新德里，一名法官在裁決一起訴訟時說，婚前性行爲是“不道德”的，也違反每一種宗教的教義。Judge Virender Bhat made the remarks after ruling that sex between two adults on the promise of marriage did not amount to rape.

Last year, a court in Delhi said live-in relationships were immoral and an "infamous product of Western culture".

這名女子指控，男子許諾娶她爲妻，多次與她發生性關係。"In my opinion, every act of sexual intercourse between two adults on the assurance of promise of marriage does not become rape, if the assurance or promise is not fulfilled later on by the boy," Judge Bhat was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.
印度新聞信託社轉述法官巴特的判詞道：“兩名成年人之間基於結婚承諾的性行爲不構成強姦，即使男方後來沒有履行承諾。”"When a grown up, educated and office-going woman subjects herself to sexual intercourse with a friend or colleague on the latter's promise that he would marry her, she does so at her own peril. She must be taken to understand the consequences of her act and must know that there is no guarantee that the boy would fulfil his promise.
巴特指出：“當一名成年的、受過教育的職業女性女性，因爲一名男子答應娶她，而與對方（朋友或同事）發生性關係，她就得自擔風險。她必須清楚這種行爲的後果，對方會否履行承諾這並沒有保證。 ”"He may or may not do so. She must understand that she is engaging in an act which not only is immoral but also against the tenets of every religion. No religion in the world allows pre-marital sex," the judge added.
他還補充道：“對方不一定履行承諾。她必須明白，她的行爲不但是不道德的而且也違反每一種宗教的教義。世界上沒有任何宗教允許婚前性行爲。”In 2010, the Supreme Court dismissed a number of cases against a Tamil actress who spoke in support of the right of women to have pre-marital sex. The court also endorsed the right of unmarried couples to live together.
