教育部指出中高考將適當增加法治知識

Legal knowledge will be included in high school and college entrance exams in the future, the Beijing News reported.

據《新京報》報道，今後我國中考、高考將考察法治知識內容。

The guideline, jointly issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice and the legal knowledge popularization office under the Justice Ministry, requires the establishment and improvement of assessment mechanisms for adolescents' legal education, and sets different targets for students at different stages.

這份由教育部、司法部、全國普法辦聯合發佈的有關校園法治教育的大綱，要求建立和完善青少年法制教育評價機制，爲不同階段的學生設置不同的目標。

For primary school students, the focus should be on teaching knowledge about China's institution, raising legal awareness and helping them develop virtues and good habits, such as being honest and abiding by rules and laws.

對於小學生來說，重點應放在對中國製度知識的教學上，提高法律意識，幫助他們養成良好的品德習慣，如誠實和遵守法律法規。

High school students should be taught in a systematic way about China's legal framework, as well as basic rules and common knowledge in the legal field.

高中學生則應該則瞭解中國特色社會主義法律體系的基本框架，以及基本制度以及法律常識。

Pi Yijun, a law professor with the China University of Political Science and Law, said the release of the guideline was partly meant to address school violence.

中國政法大學法學教授皮藝軍表示，該文件的出臺肯定與目前存在的校園暴力情況有關。

He said cultivating adolescents' awareness of obeying rules and respecting others from a young age was even more important than teaching legal knowledge.

他表示，從小培養青少年的規則意識及要求他們尊重他人，甚至比教授法律知識更加重要。
