中弘卓業接近收購美國養老院運營商

Chinese conglomerate Zhonghong Zhuoye Group is close to agreeing to a deal for New York-listed Brookdale Senior Living, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.

兩名知情人士表示，中國的中弘卓業集團(Zhonghong Zhuoye Group)已接近達成收購紐約上市公司Brookdale Senior Living的交易。

One person involved in the deal said an agreement could be reached in the coming days but stressed it was not yet finalised. The sale could fetch more than $4bn, the person said.

一名參與該交易的人士表示，協議可能會在未來幾日談成，但也強調，協議尚未最終敲定。此人表示，收購金額可能高於40億美元。

Chinese regulators have slowed outbound investment in recent months and people familiar with the situation have said it is still difficult for companies to win approval for multibillion-dollar acquisitions overseas.

近幾個月來，中國監管當局已放慢了批准對外投資的步伐。知情人士表示，目前中國企業要在海外實施規模達數十億美元的併購交易，仍很難獲得監管機構放行。

Zhonghong’s acquisition of Brookdale, which runs a chain of elderly care facilities, would be one of the largest cross-border acquisitions from China this year.

中弘卓業收購連鎖老年護理機構運營商Brookdale，將成爲今年規模最大的中國企業跨境併購交易之一。

It would also be the second major overseas transaction for the Chinese group after it bought a 21 per cent stake in US theme park SeaWorld Entertainment earlier this year from Blackstone for $429m. Zhonghong plans to bring the theme park to China.

這也將是中弘卓業今年早些時候斥資4.29億美元向黑石(Blackstone)收購美國主題公園運營商海洋世界娛樂公司(SeaWorld Entertainment) 21%股權之後的第二筆海外收購。中弘卓業打算讓該公司旗下主題公園在中國落戶。
