我國規劃在2030年前開展火星木星探測

China plans to send unmanned probes to explore Mars and Jupiter by 2030, said a senior space official.

航天局一名高級官員稱，中國計劃在2030年前發射無人探測器探索火星和木星。

Wu Yanhua, deputy director of the China National Space Administration, said at a news conference in Beijing last Tuesday that the government has decided to send a probe to Mars to orbit and land on the red planet around 2020.

國家航天局副局長吳豔華上週二在北京的一個新聞發佈會上稱，政府已決定於2020年左右發射一個繞火星軌道運行並登陸火星的探測器。

The probe will conduct scientific research on the Martian soil and atmosphere and search for signs of water.

探測器將對火星土壤和大氣展開科學研究，並尋找水的跡象。

"The project has proceeded well since it was approved. Now we have finalized the overall plan and begun to develop related equipment such as the Mars rover," he said.

吳豔華說道：“自從這個項目得到批准以來，一切進展順利。現在我們已經確定了總體計劃，並開始開發如火星探測器在內的相關設備。”

A larger probe also will set off for Mars around 2030 to take samples and return to Earth.

2030年左右，我國還將向火星發射一個更大一些的探測器，獲取樣本後將返回地球。

Jupiter as well as its moons will be visited by at least one unmanned probe from China before 2030, Wu said.

吳豔華稱，2030年之前，我國還將向木星及其衛星發射至少一個無人探測器。

To realize China's grand aspirations, scientists have started to design a super-heavy rocket, the Long March 9, and plan to put it to use around 2030, he said.

他表示，爲了實現我國宏偉的志向，科學家們已經開始設計一個超重型火箭--長征九號運載火箭，並計劃在2030年左右啓用。
