美國收緊工作簽證發放US President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order to suspend the issuance of certain temporary worker visas through the end of 2020, a move critics said would hurt the country's tech industry.
美國總統特朗普6月22日簽署行政令，暫停發放部分臨時工作簽證至2020年年底，批評人士稱，此舉將損害美國科技業。Trump's latest effort to crackdown on immigration follows his measure in April to temporarily suspend immigration to the US, which he said was aimed at protecting American jobs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new order extends his earlier ban through Dec 30 and expands it by imposing restrictions on a variety of work visas, including the categories H-1B, H-2B, H-4, L-1 and certain J-1 visas.
