微軟小冰入職東方衞視當主播!

There's a new meteorologist on Dragon TV.

東方衞視日前起用了一位新的氣象預報員。

The newbie takes no vacations or holidays. She's never late to work and never stumbles on air. Of course, it's easy to be the star employee when you're really a robot.

這位新員工不會休假或者擁有假期。她也從不遲到，從不會犯錯。當然，當你真的是一個機器人的時候，你很容易能夠成為明星員工。

When the anchor on "Morning News" needs a weather report, he introduces Xiaoice, a computer program that delivers the forecast with a female voice.

當東方衞視的《看東方》節目需要插播天氣預報時，主持人向觀眾介紹了小冰。她是一款計算機程序，可以用女性的聲音播報天氣。

TV viewers are shown a shot of an empty TV studio, while weather graphics on a screen augment Xiaoice's forecast. Xiaoice will even remind viewers to bundle up when it's cold, and cautions against outdoor exercise when the air quality is bad.

電視觀眾看到的畫面是空無一人的直播間，屏幕上顯示着配合小冰播報的天氣圖表。小冰還會在天氣冷時提醒觀眾多穿點，在空氣質量差時告誡觀眾少進行户外運動。

Xiaoice originated as a creation of Microsoft's artificial intelligence team in China. Xiaoice's television appearances began in December, in a deal with Microsoft that Dragon TV called a one-year internship for Xiaoice.

小冰是由中國的微軟人工智能團隊研發的。她是在12月份開始在電視上出現的，在與微軟的協議中，東方衞視同意為小冰提供為期一年的實習。

The chatbot could get an expanded role on Dragon TV as a commentator on news features or on an entertainment talk show.

據悉，這款聊天機器人有可能在東方衞視發揮更大的作用，比如擔任新聞節目或娛樂脱口秀的評論員。
