Topic:

Describe a song that means something special to you.

You should say:

What this song is about

When you listened to this song for the first time

How often you listen to it

And explain why you think it is special to you.

思路分析:

很特別的一首歌:同桌的你。

歌曲的內容:可以從歌詞、曲調,以及這首歌所表達的情感這幾個方面來說。

這首歌爲什麼特別:可以聯繫這首歌的內容和自己的生活。例如,每次聽到這首歌就會想起自己的同桌和與同桌之間的友情等等。

Sample answer:

In my mind, there is a song I particularly enjoy and it means a lot to me, whose name is the girl next to me. It is a folk song(民謠) sung by Laolang, a famous folk singer in my country popular in young Chinese people in particular, young college students. The singer expresses his missing to the girl sitting at same table of him in his school time. I heard it on a music website for the first time several years ago when I was in my dormitory. I was impressed by the beautiful melody(旋律) and the touching lyrics(歌詞) and it is not surprising that the song is very prevalent(流行的) among the young college students like me on campus. Each time I hear the melody,I will think of the lovely face of my desk mate ,a lovely girl ,in my high school, especially her sweet smile and her limpid(清澈的 )eyes. We have pure friendship then, and we often helped each other. She taught me English and I was better in math. We have much happy time together. After graduating from high school, we separated and communicated with each other once in a while. I wish I can sing the song with her if I have an opportunity and I believe It will be touching picture.

Describe a song that you remember from your childhood.

You should say:

and explain how you felt when you used to sing this song.

要描述好這個話題卡,考生需要注意以下幾個點:

1. 歌曲的名字不需要太過執着。如果你真的聽過,可以描述一個真實的外文兒歌,比如《音樂之聲》裏的《DO-RE-MI》,必然能和考官產生共鳴。如果你沒有聽過,隨便編一個名字就可以了,因爲名字並不是考官考察的點。這裏我建議大家隨意編個名字,畢竟描述考官知道的那些膾炙人口的兒歌,侷限性太大,不利於我們自由發揮想象力。

2. 歌曲的內容可以是任何關於題材的,冒險、風景、遊戲、家庭。大家可以自由發揮。

3. 要給考官重點描述一下這首歌當時或現在給你帶來什麼感覺。這裏有很多可說的,比如: 使我高興cheered me up,使我振作lift me up,重現童年美好時光brings back the good times,甚至至今都使我激動不已still thrills me today.

教你如何讓雅思口語考官喜歡你

思口語考試中,印象分是至關重要。就等於一位好的老師不但課要教得好,更重要的是要有人格魅力(personal charm ),而同學們在考試過程中這種魅力一定要有,通過禮儀體現出來。口語的三部分,同學們都知道第一部分最簡單,第二部分動用自己的想象力去描述,第三部分最難,但最關鍵的是第一部分,也就是從你進門那一肯開始。下面我與大家分享下外交級的禮儀,如何讓考官非常喜歡你。下面的“T”代表考官,“S”代表你。

T:Come in please.(在門口叫你)

S:thank you 後,輕聲關門,馬上走到考官前說:my name is _x.(一定要說中文名,不能說英文名),然後馬上請問對方的名字:howdo you like me to address you ,sir?(這句話是外交級的語言,對方肯定會告訴你名字),假設考官說的是Ken,你馬上微笑的回答:Oh, Ken, (驚訝的表情),nice name, glad to meet you.(伸出手,要有力) 。

T:說完後考官肯定說thanks, 然後說sit down ,please.

S:同學們不要馬上坐下,因爲當時考官還是站着的,你要說:you please.(你先請) 。

要重點注意的幾個禮儀:

1、動作:同學們的眼睛千萬不要晃,不要老眨眼,這是消極的表現,要不時面帶笑容,看考官的鼻子,不要看眼睛,這樣你會很緊張,你看考官的鼻子的地方,從他的角度看你是看着他的眼睛的。男女生挺直不能依靠椅子,男生雙手要分別放在大腿,女生雙手放在左大腿上,身體稍微有點傾斜。

2、手錶:西方國家的人很看重“手錶”,無論我在外交部,大使館給國家領導人做翻譯,還是跟外教一起聊英語教學,都發現他們很喜歡帶表,他們稱帶表的人爲“aman of time”(有時間觀念的人),所以同學們考試時一定要帶表。

3、顏色:顏色會使一個人的感覺變動,而如果全部同學都是穿白色或淺色的衣服,而你穿了黑色,那你就會給人耳目一新的感覺。在所有我接觸過的考官,都喜歡一種顏色,那就是綠色,那是代表“love ,hope ,life andenergy”,並且澳大利亞的國色是綠色。我推薦大家穿綠色,藍色和黃色。這樣會讓所有的外國考官都會喜歡。

4、結束:當考官最後說了一句:that‘s all。一般同學們都會說:thanks, goodbye.這樣的印象分也是很差的,一般第三部分的分數是等你出了門,考官纔會寫下去,所以最後的一句話往往是加分的。同學們牢記好三句話:thanks very muchfor your time ,and I enjoy taking with you . Have a good day,__(加上考官的名字,並且握手)。

雅思口語如何做到切題回答

對於口語考試,很多考生都感到迷惑,不知道到底怎麼回答才叫切題。有的學生認爲只要是聽明白了老師的問題順着往下說就可以。只要中間沒有太多的停頓就行。所以這部分考生更注重說口語的流利度。而另一部分學生,他們更注重語音語調的練習,認爲發音是雅思口語的重頭戲。

其實雅思口語考試不是僅僅考察學生的語音,語調和流利度,而是考覈考生整體的交流技能。而這個交流技能在考試過程中是從具體的測試方向進行衡量的,衡量方向包括口語詞彙數量的大小,說話的時候是不是有邏輯,句法掌控的如何,句型變化的情況,句子之間的銜接,以及對習語的應用等等。有的學生覺得這麼多條條框框考試的時間又那麼短,不可能都記得清清楚楚的。這裏考生最需要注重的一個問題就是,考試的時候回答問題一定要切題。

其實雅思口語和作文很相似,口語中對給出的話題一定要切入主題,不然就會被考官認爲是跑題。但是前提條件是一定要把題目聽明白了才行。對於跑題的概念我們來舉出具體的例子說明;

問題:Do you like reading books? 很多考生回答:Yes, I do. I like reading books very much。

對於這個答案,很多學生都認爲老師問的問題太簡單了,我只能這麼回答。而很多老師對於這個答案也耳熟了。老師提醒各位考生的是,這個回答不算跑題,但是太過於簡單了。想拿高分的考生不能老師一問Do you....。。然後你就回答Yes, I do....。。這樣的話。感覺像是在背課文。可以用Of course, Definitely, Sure, 和Certainly來做個替換,然後把後面I like的賓語提前說出來,就變成了Reading books is one of my favourites in my free time. And it can enlarge my imagination and widen the scope of knowledge。這樣回答既能保證不太俗套,內容也比較充實。對於口語第一部分的問題,建議考生不要回答的內容過多。只要切題,答出要點就可以了。如果考官讓你談談你的家鄉,首先要歸納重點要說的內容,然後把其中的一個擴展就行。不要沒完沒了的說很多,老師還會認爲你是背誦出來的呢。
