1. -What time do you usually get up, Rick? 瑞克，你通常幾點起牀? - I usually get up at five o’clock. 我通常在五點起牀。
(1.) 這是一個用來詢問什麼時間做某事的常用句型。它經常用來詢問具體的時間，相當於對畫線部分(表示具體時間的狀語)提問。
例如：What time do you usually have lunch?
你通常什麼時間吃午飯?
I usually have lunch at 12:00.
我通常在12點吃午飯。
(2.) 短語what time= when 都是對時間進行提問，但what time所問的時間範圍比較小，一般用來提問比較精確的時間，回答的時候一般用具體到幾點。而when所問 的時間範圍比what time要大，回答的時候可以用幾點鐘，也可以是上午或者下午，甚至是哪一天、哪一年。
例如：What time do you usually get up? 你通常什麼時間起牀?
I usually get up at seven o’clock. 我通常在七點起牀。
When is your birthday? 你的生日是什麼時候?
It’s May 10. 是5月10日。
2. -What time is it now? 現在幾點了?
- It’s about six-fourteen. 大約六點十四分。
(1.)這是詢問時間的常用句型，它的意思是“現在幾點鐘了?”。詢問時間還可以用句型：What’s the time now?或者What time is it by your watch? =What’s the time by your watch? 看看你的手錶現在是幾點了?
(2.)回答別人詢問幾點可以用句型：It+is+數字。也可以用句型：It’s +數字 +o’clock表示時間是整點。如果是幾點幾分，用數字表示。
例如：2：24可以是two twenty-four。
3. What time do you go to school? 你什麼時候去上學?
這是一個特殊疑問句，所以不能用Yes或者No來回答。如果句子的主語是第三人稱單數形式，助動詞用does。
例如：What time does your father go to work? 你爸爸什麼時候去上班?
英文語法時間表示方法：時刻表示法1)英語表時刻其前用at。如：
We get up at six (或at six o'clock).我們六點起牀。
They begin work at eight.他們八點開始工作。
2)如說"幾點幾分"，則用下列方法表示：
a)表示"幾點過幾分"，用介詞past，但分數須在半小時以內(包括半小時在內)。如：
eleven past seven七點過十一分
a quarter past eight 八點一刻
half past nine九點半
b)表示"幾點差幾分"，用介詞to，但分數須在半小時以上(不包括半小時在內)。如：
two to seven七點差兩分
a quarter to eight八點一刻
eighteen to nine九點差十八分
[注]讀時間表如上課時間表和行車時間表時，可以直接照表上數字讀。日常生活中講時刻也可用這樣的說法。如：
7：15讀作seven fifteen 11：30讀作eleven thirty
9：20讀作nine twenty 3：53讀作three fifty-three

2)月份 月份開頭第一個字母須大寫，表示"在某月"時，月份前面用介詞in。下面月份後附有縮寫式。如：

3)日期 用序數詞(前面須用the)表示;"在某日"，前面用介詞on。如： (on) the first 一日 (on) the eighteenth 十八日
