一、複數形式

sheep? sheep (綿羊)　　hen? hens(母雞) lamb? lambs(羊羔)

二、可數名詞變複數的規則：

1、一般情況下，在單數名詞詞尾加“s”.如：

cat? cats dog? dogs book? books ruler? rulers

2、在以s, ss , x , sh , ch 結尾的名詞後面加“es”,如：

box? boxes peach? peaches bus? buses class? classes

3、在以o結尾的單詞後面加“es”,如：

tomato? tomatoes potato? potatoes

4、以元音字母加y結尾的名詞，直接加“s”如：

boy? boys toy? toys day? days

以輔音字母加y結尾的名詞，去掉y後加“ies”,如：

5、以f, fe結尾的名詞，去掉f或fe後加“ves”，如：
